Dear Diamondback Nation,

As we are all aware FHMS has been impacted by the spread of COVID19 in our community. We are concerned about your health and safety during this time. Please continue to do your part by following the governor’s mandates. By doing this we hope to return to in person learning after Thanksgiving break. 

Listed below are important things to know during this soft closure:

  • School
    • We will be following a synchronous learning model which is very different from what virtual learning looked like in the spring. 
      • Students are expected to login first thing in the morning by going to canvas and join the class zoom session during the designated times listed below and follow the teacher’s instructions. 
      • ATTENDANCE will be taken each period. 
    • Schedule - we will follow our current calendar. Monday is an A Day. 
    • TA will continue but has been moved to the end of the day on B Days.
  • Bell Schedule - for Monday -Thursday
    • Friday 11/20 will follow our regular Friday 9:30-12:00pm with all learning being virtual.

  • Lunches
    • Friday 11/13 & 11/20 - GRAB n GO lunches available from 11:00am-12:30pm.
    • Mon-Thurs - GRAB n GO lunches will be available from 10:30am-12:00pm at the  North end of the building.  
  • Counselors
    • PCCRs for 8th graders and their parents will continue virtually through ZOOM. Please email your counselor if you have any questions.
