Tuesday, December 13 will be the last day for our Diamondback Giveback fundraiser drive.  The purpose of the drive is to collect canned food and dry good to donate to the Utah Food Bank and to collect money for local charitable efforts, such as buying gifts for students at Kauri Sue Hamilton School and contributing to Jordan Credit Union's Warm the Soles.  Monetary donations are also used to provide Christmas to local families in the Herriman area.

This Friday, December 9 will be double points Friday where classes will earn double points for all contributions.

We thank you for all the donations for this amazing effort.  Again, December 13 will be the last day for donations.

On Monday, October 31, 2016, students will be allowed to dress for the upcoming Halloween holiday.  Students are allowed to wear costumes, but they must be in compliance with current dress code rules, e.g. clothing shall cover the midriff, underwear, back and cleavage at all times.  Skirts, short dresses, etc. must be mid-thigh length when the student is seated.  Tank tops, low cut tops and spaghetti straps will not be permitted.  Straps must be at least 3 inches in width.  Masks and full face paint will not be allowed, as we need to determine who the student is.  Weapons and facsimiles of weapons are not permitted.  Also, costumes must be free of any reference to drugs or alcohol.  In light of recent events, clown costumes are not allowed.  Anyone who shows up in a clown costume will be sent home to change.  If arrangements cannot be made to go home and change, students in clown costumes will remain in the office for the day.

Students will be allowed to have temporary hair color, however, the hair dye will need to be completely removed by the students' return to school on Tuesday, November 1.  Students who are not in compliance with the established dress code will be asked to change.  If they are unable to change, they will be asked to return home to change or go home.

If you have any questions, please contact the school at 801-412-2450.

Thank you.
