Welcome Back!
Hello Diamondbacks!
The new school year is quickly approaching. We’re getting things ready and looking forward to another great year at the Fort.
Here are some upcoming events:
Back to school night will be Thursday, August 14th from 4:00 to 6:00PM
Come join us for this community open-house. Teachers will be available to meet parents, students, and their siblings. Mr. Heumann will man the hot dog grill! Come get to know the layout of the school before everyone is here.
7th Grade Orientation will be on Tuesday, August 19th from 8:00AM to 12:00PM
7th Graders are invited to join us for a day of school without 8th or 9th graders. We'll run through your class schedule and introduce you to the Fort Herriman way.
First Day of School (with all grades) will be Wednesday, August 20th from 8:00AM to 3:00PM
Picture Day will be Monday, August 25th.
Here are some reminders and other important information:
Chromebooks
7th graders will pick up their school issued Chromebooks during 7th grade orientation.
8th and 9th graders: remember to bring your charged Chromebooks to school on the first day, Wednesday, August 20th.
Memory Books
PTSA Membership Dues and FHMS Memory Books can be purchased by clicking the link here.
Lockers
Lockers will be available beginning Monday, August 18th. Students who want a locker will need to go to the attendance office and request one. There are plenty of lockers available and you can request a locker at any time, so no need to rush. Students will receive a locker disclosure statement form that they will need to read with a parent prior to receiving a locker assignment and combo. Lunch Money
Please make sure your student has money in their account for lunches. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to deposit lunch money using Skyward (versión en español).
Registration Fees
No Registration Fees this year - Refer to the link to see other fees that only apply to certain classes.
Online Registration
Registration will be open July 28th - August 20th. You must complete the Registration for School for each one of your students as part of the registration process at the beginning of each school year. To do so, log into Skyward and click on the Student Registration tab OR click this link.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences
